Fulham v Liverpool - Premier League betting value

Fulham v Liverpool (Monday 8pm Sky Sports 1)

Stats Analysis

Liverpool played Fulham off the park in this fixture last season with Luis Suarez and the Red’s fast front line giving Fulham’s back four a hard time. On that occasion it finished 5-2 and while the margin is unlikely here they are still favourites to win. Liverpool can be backed at (2.20) and this offers little value, however their away form has been good recently winning their last 3 and against similar rated teams they have won 5 from the last 10 including the win here last season. Fulham can be backed at (3.60) to win this game, but given the form that Liverpool are in this price offers little attraction. If you do fancy Fulham it might be wise to keep the draw on side and back on the Asian handicap +0.5 goals at (1.85)

Fulham drew 1-1 at top-four chasers Arsenal last week and are capable of achieving a similar result against the Reds. Fulham have drawn six Premier League games this season – the second highest in the division and 4 of the last 8 at home have also resulted in a draw. Liverpool have however only drawn 1 of their last 15 away winning 8. The draw can be backed at (3.40) and offers value.

As for goals there is a bias to 3 or more and in the case of Fulham 10 of their last 15 home games have seen 3 or more goals. Liverpool have seen 2.5 goals in 7 of their last 15 away. Over 2.5 goals can be backed at (2.15) and looks to offer value. Finally there is a good chance we could get a fast start to the game. There has been a goal scored before the 25th minute in 8 of Fulham's last 10 home games and in 5 of Liverpool's last 10 away. The 1st goal of the game to be scored before the 27th minute is priced (2.10).
