Well not a bad first day of the season, 2.2 points profit or £220 to £100 stakes...especially good when Arsenal didn't win at home whilst a short but value 1.44. The late tv game showed how the stats don't lie, pre game everything pointed to Over 2.5 goals, but at 0-0 at HT it didn't look very likely, but Newcastle twice went ahead to win 2-1.
Onto Sunday's Premier League BetsLayer Value Highlights
Wigan v Chelsea - Wigan have only lost 3 of the last 10 against similar opposition - Back Wigan +1 Goal (1.75)
Manchester City v Southampton - Manchester City have kept 7 clean sheets in the last 10 games against similar opponents - Manchester City Clean Sheet (1.80)

Hi anyone still interested in the Blog, well its been a quiet summer for blogging, but a crazy one on the work front. I have now started a new job, which will take up more of my time and pays a fair bit more money, so due to the goings on I have not yet decided how the blog will continue as the 'write ups' do take many hours.
For now here are the Betslayer Value Highlights for the first weekend of the Premier League.
Arsenal v Sunderland - Arsenal have won 8 of the Last 10 against similar opposition - Arsenal (1.44)
Fulham v Norwich - Fulham have won 8 of the Last 10 against similar opposition - Fulham at (1.85)
QPR v Swansea - Draw (3.50)
Reading v Stoke - Draw (3.40)
WBA v Liverpool - Liverpool have lost 7 of the last 10 against similar opposition - Lay Liverpool (1.90) or Back WBA on +0.5 goals on the Asian Handicap
WHU v Aston Villa - Draw (3.50)
Newcastle v Spurs - 3 or more goals in 6 of the last 8 Newcastle home and 7 of the last 10 Spurs away against similar opposition - Over 2.5 goals (1.95)
Thats it for today, will post the remaining weekend games after the results are in, good luck BetsLayers! ++Note++ A word of caution, being the first weekend of the season its always wise to ease off the stakes a little and be selective in your bets)

Premier League Final Sunday Betting Value (May 13th)
MANCHESTER CITY v QPR (Sunday Sky Sports 1 15:00pm)
Stats Analysis
Manchester City are priced at a short (1.15) which doesn't hold any value although they do have an almost perfect home record. If you do fancy Manchester City it makes good sense to back them to win to nil at (1.80) this has featured in 6 of Manchester City's last 10 home games to similar opposition. Another alternative is Manchester City to win Both Halves (2.10) this has featured in 10 of Manchester City's last 15 home games.
The Draw is priced at (9.50) and holds some value but not much appeal given the circumstances and City's need to win
Relegation threatened QPR are (19.00) which holds no real value looking at Manchester City's home record. If you do fancy a bet on QPR take them to hold City with +2 goals on the Asian Handicap at (2.20)
As for Goals there is no value on the Under 2.5 market, but the Under 3.5 at (2.10) holds some interest as its featured in 7 of Manchester City's last 10 home games also in 8 of QPR's last 12 away games.
1st Half Highest scoring (3.20) holds some potential having featured in 4 of Manchester City's last 10 home games also in 4 of QPR's last 7 away games.

The Draw is priced at (4.60) which holds some good value and should be considered in what is sure to be a tight game.
Deposed Champions Manchester United are available at (1.50) which offer no real value at this price, especially considering how flat they will potentially feel as news comes through of Manchester City's game.
If you fancy Manchester United to win Dutch them to win by 1 or 2 goals (2.10) and is a useful option Sunderland have only lost by more than 2 goals once in last 14 home defeats also featuring in 8 of Manchester United's last 10 away victories.

Stats Analysis
Manchester United are priced at a short looking (1.20) which offers no real value. If you do fancy them then consider backing - 2.0 (1.85) Goals on the Asian Handicap.
